We had an exciting day as we dropped Brian off at the MTC. Shelley could not make it with us since she started her new j0b on Monday and was still working on getting settled. The program was nice as always, but we were fortunate in that we did not have to say our good-byes immediately after. Since Brian had not been set apart, we were able to go with him into the office of one of the counselors in the MTC presidency where he was set apart as a missionary. Our good-bye was done in the hallway in a much more private setting making things much easier. I think Brian will do well and I hope that he continues with his enthusiasm throughout the mission. A blog will be updated for Brian while on thew mission to keep everyone informed. I will post the link as soon as I have the blog finished.

Where was Bob?
Bob could not make it down because of school. He came down on sunday and saw brian at Aunt Marilyns.
I love the Johnson's. I think Brian has been looking forward for this his whole like.
I think Donny will make an awesome missionary. He will just flash that million dollar smile and they will all be hooked. Can't wait to seee the missionary blog. Are we still working on Bob?

thank you for noticing kellie - I will do my best with it but every time I mention blog to steph she just rolls her eyes at me. I think if I can just get her started at looking at some of the blogs that are kept in the fam she might get hooked. Brian made the first post on his mission blog but I will be the one keeping it going while he's gone. I will try and update it as often as we get letters from him. I will also send him the comments people make as well.
