Baby Blessing

We traveled to Rexburg this past weekend to bless Chrissy, the newest addition to my side of the family and the first grandchild for my parents (surprisingly there has already been two more additions to Shelley's side - Crazy!) Bob gave the blessing and did a wonderful job; it was a special moment for my family to see Bob blessing his baby. He and Christine are so happy even with the lack of sleep ;) Afterwards we had a picnic since we all could not fit in their apartment.

After we ate, we took the kids for a "nature hike" around porter park and came across these chalk outlines. I thought it would be fun to lay on it...

We also met a cousin this weekend whom I and most of my extended family had not seen in over 20 years (I was to young to even remember him). We had such a great time visiting with them and getting to know their family. Our meeting was the result of a diligent grandmother who loves and cares for each of her grandchildren. Below is a picture of Grandma with Ben and his wife Heather. The boys are Samuel and Jeremiah, and the girl is Ania (sp?)
