You may not recognize the name or even his face, but if you heard his voice you would know who he was in a heartbeat. He is responsible for doing the voiceover of 5000 movie trailers in his lifetime. His signature phrase "In a world ..." can be heard at the beginning of several movie previews. He died suddenly at the age of 68. Ironically, his face and name became recognizable after doing a Geico commercial which I have posted below. We will miss you, especially as we sit through 20 minutes of previews waiting for our movie to start.

Oh yes, a sad day indeed!! Every time I hear him in a commercial I feel sad. Movie trailers will never be the same. Is that the right way to spell that kind of trailer?
Anyway, way to update, if it wasn't for google reader I would have never have known.
